More than two decades ago, he founded Confident Group with a simple yet profound vision to build not just homes, but trust. To him, real estate was never merely about constructing buildings; it was about creating communities, fulfilling dreams, and honouring every promise made to customers with integrity, responsibility, and excellence.
Under his visionary leadership, Confident Group successfully delivered over 210 landmark projects across Bengaluru, Kerala, and the UAE, earning the confidence of thousands of families. Yet, the true measure of his legacy extends far beyond bricks and mortar.
A vibrant and charismatic leader, Dr. Roy was a visionary entrepreneur, a generous philanthropist, and an inspiring mentor who believed in empowering people to dream bigger and achieve more. He was a passionate patron of sports, singers, artists, and the film industry, always encouraging talent and celebrating excellence in every field. To those who knew him, he was a living encyclopedia respected for his remarkable wisdom, extraordinary insight, humility, and ability to inspire everyone around him.
His philosophy was simple yet profound: “Celebrate Life.” Above all, he was a great human being who believed that true success is measured not only by what we build, but by the lives we touch, the hope we inspire, and the kindness we leave behind.
Today, Dr. Roy's vision continues to guide Confident Group. His values remain deeply embedded in our culture, inspiring every decision we make and every promise we honour. T.A. Joseph began his professional journey in the maritime industry, serving for over 22 years aboard merchant ships, offshore oil and gas vessels, and diving support vessels. His extensive international exposure instilled in him the values of leadership, discipline, operational excellence, and professionalism that would later define his business career.
In 2002, driven by an entrepreneurial vision, he entered the real estate sector by establishing a villa development venture, marking the beginning of a successful journey in property development.
In 2006, as Confident Group expanded into Kerala, the late Dr. Roy C.J., the visionary Founder and Chairman, entrusted T.A. Joseph with leading the Group's Kerala operations. Joining the Group as a Director, he worked closely with Dr. Roy C.J., whose inspiring personality, unwavering trust for the Company's remarkable success in the State.
Starting with just one project, two employees, and a modest office, the Kerala operations steadily evolved into one of the State's most respected real estate organizations. The visionary leadership of Founder and Chairman Dr. Roy C.J., together with Managing Director T.A. Joseph, supported by the dedication of the Directors and a committed team of over 280 employees, created Confident Group's unique and inspiring Kerala growth story.
Under this collective leadership, Confident Group expanded across Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Thrissur, and Kottayam, successfully completing more than 67 residential projects and delivering thousands of apartments. The Group also pioneered four distinct residential segments Smile Homes, Luxy Homes, Lifestyle Plus, and Premium Lifestyle offering quality homes across diverse price points, ranging from approximately ₹57 lakh to over ₹3 crore, thereby catering to the aspirations of homebuyers from different income groups.
Over the past two decades, Confident Group has emerged as one of South India's top trusted and respected real estate brands through consistent project launches, delivery, uncompromising quality, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
Beyond business, T.A. Joseph has always believed that true corporate success must create a lasting social impact. With the wholehearted support of the late Dr. Roy C.J., Confident Group voluntarily established its Helping Hand initiative, despite there being no statutory CSR obligation in Kerala.
For more than 15 years, the Group has extended continuous support to thousands of economically disadvantaged patients suffering from kidney, heart, liver, cancer, and mental illnesses, while also assisting orphanages, special schools, educational institutions, and hundreds of homes for homeless really backward families.
Today, T.A. Joseph is recognized for his disciplined leadership, operational excellence, integrity, and unwavering commitment to customer trust and social responsibility. His journey—from the decks of offshore vessels to helping build one of Kerala's most admired real estate organizations stands as a testament to vision, hard work, commitment, perseverance, discipline more over teamwork, and purpose-driven leadership.
Director - Projects
A Civil Engineer with a post-graduation in construction management from the United Kingdom, he is our backbone for the construction projects, as he drives them almost single-handedly delivering quality of the highest standards in all projects. His consistent track record, rich experience of about three decades in the construction industry has been a great boon to us.
He is an expert in varied constructions which include residential complexes, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, shopping malls, software parks – to name a few.
Executive Director - Projects
A part of Confident Group since 2006 and its very first employee, Ms. Shijitha Ullas has been instrumental in the organization's growth and evolution. As Executive Director – Projects, she oversees project execution across Kerala, ensuring the highest standards of quality, precision, and operational excellence.
Affectionately known as the “Iron Lady” of Confident Group, Ms. Shijitha is widely respected within the organization for her resilience, determination, and decisive leadership.
Holding a background in Civil Engineering and bringing over 35+ years of professional experience, Ms. Shijitha combines technical expertise with extensive industry knowledge. Her long association with Confident Group has given her valuable insight into its values and operations, enabling her to contribute meaningfully to its continued growth.
With the same enthusiasm that marked the beginning of her journey, she continues to contribute to Confident Group's growth and success.
